    Your Arrival

    You are expected at Lille Europe / Flandres train station on Saturday June 29th.

    Plane to train connection:

    To travel from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport to Lille Europe or Lille Flandres train station, follow these steps:
    Arrival at CDG Airport: The airport is divided into 3 terminals. Upon arrival, locate Terminal 2 to reach the Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV train station. If you arrive at Terminal 1 or 3 (or if you arrive from another airport via public transportation), take the free shuttle (CDG Val) to reach Terminal 2. Shops, restaurants, and bathrooms are available if needed. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the airport.
    Once in Terminal 2: Head towards the area between Terminals 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F, and follow the signs: ‘Trains – Gare SNCF – Grandes lignes’.
    Once in ‘Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV’ train station:     Take the TGV (high-speed train) heading to Lille Europe / Flandres (travel time: 53 min).

    Pick-up:

    The International Academy and the COPAIN association will welcome you at Lille Europe train station and accompany you to your accommodation in the Lille metropolis.

    Arriving at your Hotel

    On the day of your arrival, you will be given a few useful documents to begin properly your experience in Lille:

    ◘ Your ILEVIA travel card; this card will allow you unlimited use of the public networks in Lille metropolis (underground, bus, tram and train) ;
    ◘ Leaflets and a map of Lille;
    ◘ Your meal plan for the first days – see the page Comfort Pack on the Hydro public site.

    Housing

    You will be staying at the ASCOTEL complexe, located at the heart the green and quiet scientific campus, close to the Cité Scientifique metro station (Line 1, yellow line): 10 min to Lille city centre and 3 min to the popular V2 Shopping Mall and the Grand Stade Pierre Mauroy Lille Métropole.

    You will be provided with a furnished individual room with private bathroom, towels, bedsheets, free wifi.
